I have become more adventurous as I get older and enjoy doing lots of different things. "They" say the 70's is the New "50's". I'm not at all embarassed to admit that I'm in my 70's but feel like I'm in my 50's (or even younger)....... so I believe what "they" say.
You're NEVER too old to have fun and try exciting new things!!! So... for those of you in the "twilight" of your life....go for it and ENJOY the rest of your life !!!

This was the "Murder on the Alaska Train" trip October 18, 2008. It was a Fund Raiser for our Wasilla Chamber of Commerce. The trip was from Wasilla to Splender Glacier and back. It was over eight hours on a wonderful train trip!

What Fun! There were eight train cars and over 400 people. Most were dressed for the "Nifty Fifties".

I am fortunate to live in Sarah Palin's hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. This is a photo of Sarah Palin and myself. There have been a number of opportunities for local people to take photos of Sarah.... and she has been generous of her time by allowing us to have our picture taken with her.

I auditioned in Anchorage, Alaska for "Deal or No Deal" and was called back twice. Unfortunately, I wasn't called a third time...........how sad! I know if they come to Anchorage again, I'll be down there in a flash!

My cousin, Leona and I went "white water rafting" in Alaska, July 2008. What Fun !

When you live in Alaska, we have many opportunities to go Halibut fishing. This was a charter on Poi Boy Charters in Homer, July 2008. My fish wasn't the largest, but it was a lot of fun bringing it in.

I'm at Mt. Alyeska in Girdwood, Alaska and getting ready for my first "Paragliding" experience. So much fun..... and I look forward to doing it again!! July 2006
